Pure line drive from 55 yards. Can't say I rooted for him, as a Miami fan and USC alum. Seems like Nugent has been around for 6 years, or however long Tressel and Co. have been pulling out these tossups, especially at home.

Terry Bowden on the announcing crew was absolutely correct, the Marshall QB screwed up bigtime by rolling right on that 3rd down with under 4 minutes. It put the ball on the outside hashmark and the kicker yanked it pure left. At that point the new Buckeye QB was no cinch to march down and tie the game, the way he was struggling.

Kudos to the Buckeyes. They are true to their style of play and never inspire anyone to leave early.

zwick was kind of weakyesterday ...but hes a first year, so im not too worried. with hamby and childress coming up, not to mention holmes, our passing game will kick ass in a year, if not the end of this one. if marshall hadn't have faked that field goal and gotten stomped, it would have gone into OT
