Have you ever started writing a post, but then just said "Fuck it"?

Like, you're starting to post on a reply or even a new thread, and your mind tells you that it's not worth it to write that post, and you just say "screw it", and click on the back button???

It happens to me sometimes. It just happened to me now in another thread. I was gonna type something, then I was like, "Ah, it's too much of a hassle. Fuck it." (click back)

2. I've done that three times in the past hour.
Gotten halfway through a post and thought to myself "Fuck it. This isn't making any sense." Usually happens in GD & GD2004.

but it is usually just when i would be troll-feeding anyway.

5. Oh yeah
I find myself doing it whenever someone feels everyone here should share the exact same views. It becomes a case of what is the point. Nothing will be resolved.

10. All the time.
Especially when a post pisses me off. Often the mere act of typing out the post calms me down, and I decide to delete it, rather than fan flames.

16. Constantly...
and most of the time I'm also thinking that the idiots I would have addressed the post to wouldn't understand what I was saying anyway.

Other times, something that I *thought* was going to be funny and clever ends up sounding stupid and confusing when typed out.

Sometimes silence really IS golden.

19. I do it more than I hit "post", or I rush back and delete what I just
wrote. I have a hard time holding my tongue and I have some pet peeve issues that some people just don't let up on that I should just let slide.

20. Yeah
sometimes I start a post, but I look at it again and think it might look mean-spirited to somebody, so I cancel it.

I figure, "Do people really want to hear me complain about my parents?" Probably not. :eyes: I don't even think I want to hear myself complain about them.
