Hands down. If he could catch the ball, it'd be unanimous!

3. Great Cats
Great cats! Poor baseball judgement.

Stick to cats. It's an area in which you excel. Although your loyalty is touching, baseball is not your forte.

and I probably know more about baseball than you do. :-)

5. It's Not Your Knowledge
I don't question your knowledge of baseball. However, your choice of teams to root for is unfortunate.

16. Love Those Cats!
You have great taste in cats. Your taste in sports teams, however, is lamentable. Yes, you grew up in Boston. More's the pity.

30. Sox Will Choke
Sox have been playing over their heads. Reality will soon come crashing down on them. As soon as it dawns on them that they've been doing a little too well, their pitchers will lose sight of the strike zone, their batters will start hitting easy ground-outs, and infielders will bobble the ball. Listen, it happens.

32. Yes, I know it happens. But that's no reason to insult me PERSONALLY
:wtf:

Yeah, the Red sox have a history of choking in October. But to insult someone's 'taste' in teams shows you have no understanding of team loyalty. Cheering for the Red Sox is part of being from Boston. So it's not a matter of taste.

39. Lost In Translation
It must be the Internet. There was no personal insult intended, you're reading that into my post. You posted something to the effect of Red Sox are great and I responded with something to the effect of Red Sox suck.

IIRC, such partisanship is a traditional part of baseball. To tell you the truth, I haven't kept up with the game since Alex Rodriguez. I was so loyal! Even the obnoxious Pete Rose didn't deter me.

May your team win.

13. I do too
We're gonna be in third place when the year is done, so for once since I was 10, we'd have progress, let this year be the beginning of the end of the Yanks reign of terror, they havent been lower than first since the year we nearly went all the way, :(, I dont get it, we beat the Indians in the '96 ALDS when we were the worser team, we only had won 88 games and were the wild card, and then the indians who were a medicore first place team beat us in the 1997 ACLS, and I really sincerely think we would have had the marlins for lunch, though they did good against us that year in interleague, sigh, why did Angelos have to be such a dick to Davey Johnson, ahh well at least Ray Miller is pitching coach.

the fanbase seems split. the friendly boy at the liquor store dutifully wears his redsox t-shirt whenever he can and has told me he has taught his firstborn child who is learning to speak to say "yankee's suck". I stay nuetral in these matters. :eyes:

33. It's easier to get a ticket to Yankee Stadium than Fenway
it's a small park and Seasons Ticket Holders monopolize the good tix. And it's the most expensive ticket in baseball. I feel bad for people who want to bring their kids to games-it's an expensive day out.

35. Obstructed View Single Seats start at $44
It's ridiculous.

"The most expensive in baseball is a day at Boston's Fenway Park, home of the Red Sox, where the cost for a family of four is about $263. In Philadelphia, the average cost for a family soared more than 26 percent, in part to offset a new stadium. Even the least expensive game, those hosted by the Montreal Expos, will cost more than $100."

one of my friends has access to very good seats. Occasionally, we luck out and get invites to a game. Otherwise, I've sat in the nosebleed section.
