It's Official----The new "Joey" show sucks major ASS!
Ugh, the new spin-off show where Joey Tribbiani stars definitely sucks major ass. It's lame, the characters are poorly played, and it'll be canceled with a few weeks.

2. It's Matt LeBlanc. Hardly a 'top of the heap' actor...
Wait, he did star in 'Top of the Heap'. And went back down in 6 weeks. :D

As a sidebar on the overrated 'Friends' is how he made a living.

Even William Shatner is a better actor.

4. Pilot episodes usually suck
they're just there to introduce the characters and the setup. It'll take a few weeks to determine the true level of suckitude.

5. Good. Maybe if Joey join
the ranks of the employed he might show some empathy for the unemployed, and stick his rethuglican politics where the sun doesn't shine. Then again, he may join the other has been rethugs and go out campaigning for *.

14. huh?
I've never heard he was a republican.

His only political donation was $2,000 to Nick Clooney, a Democrat.

25. Why do you hate America??
I just think that you need to get a big box of Franzia (try the Chillable Red) and the ENTIRE set of Friends on DVD, and learn to love America, and Joey.

God Bless Us All.

9. Ummmm ... I like it
I like seeing Adriana as a mother. I didn't expect that to be the kind of role she'd play.

I mean, it's fairly typical sitcom stuff, but not bad.

23. What's stupid about that though is....
I read an article recently that's she's 32 (and a young looking 32 I think), yet she's playing the mother of a 20 year old? :wtf:

I have no desire to watch the show and I doubt I will, but this struck me as a bit odd.

10. Why all the "Friends" bashing?
I admit, it wasn't landmark television as far as acting or plot development but it kept me entertained for 10 years.

And it was actually pretty funny.

13. some people
think that any show that is not genius is utter shite. these people also tend to hate something purely because it's mainstream

not that that is the only reason to hate a show, but i've met a LOT of people who are this way

no offense to DUers who have personally legitimate reasons to hate the show

24. It was a stupid sitcom
I tried watching a couple of times and didn't find it even remotely entertaining, or funny.

To each their own, but I couldn't even watch it as a guilty pleasure type show. 'Cause a guilty pleasure still has to be, well, pleasurable.

16. I actually watched this show for some reason.
I didn't think it was any worse than any other sitcom I've ever seen. I tend to not like sitcoms. I think the only one that I've seen recently that I really like is "King of Queens".

20. ROFL
Well considering the show it spun off sucked ass, it's not too surprising.

Unfortunately it'll probably last 10 years just like Friends. I hope to everything holy I'm wrong and it'll go the way of the last shitty spinoff Matt LeBlanc was involved with (that godawful Married With Children spinoff...can't even remember the name of it, it was so bad).

21. Remember when Leblanc and Joe Balona were on Married with Children?
They ran them through as wise guy dad and son with crap accents. If I remember right they actually got their own show. Didn't last long and was canceled.
