Study Says Redheads Are Sexier Than Blondes

WHILE blondes have more fun, it is the redheads that are the saucy sex bunnies.

A new study by Monash University researcher Amanda Third has found that red-haired women have begun to surpass the Aussie icon of blonde hair and blue eyes in the sex appeal stakes.

Ms Third, herself a natural redhead, said the rise to prominence of red-haired Hollywood stars such as Nicole Kidman was an indication of the new sexy status of the red-headed female population.

"There is a long history surrounding the treatment of redheads and their place in society," she said.

"Historically, redheads have been seen as women with a lot of spunk. We think of them as sexy, rebellious and dangerous."
