2. Thoughts for the safety of all
For the people of Puerto Rico, The Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica, Cuba, the Bahamas, Barbados, and wherever else it may strike. Let us hope for the continued safety and recovery of our friends and family in Florida.

This has been a hurricane season like no other in memory.

4. I was watching some show on Hurricanes the other day
They say that bad hurricane years go in cycles. We have had more hurricanes this year than in any other in many decades and next year might be worse. I think they said these cyles last about 40 year?
So the next few years we can expect lots of hurricanes.
Last time we had really bad seasons like this it was much less populated.
Lets hope some people get tired of it and leave. Florida doesn't have the resources to sustain the life style there.

5. Hurricane Ivan-the map.
Well since we live about 1 hour south of Tampa, we were very thankful to have missed "Charlie" and again "Frances", but now if "Ivan" comes, I feel that the third time is the charm, and we will just speed up our vacation and leave. The only problem we had was a few hours of no power during Frances.
