Squeech comes alive, Sept. 18, Watertown MA

This is considerably advance notice that I'm going to perform live in concert on Saturday, September 18th, at a venue called the Inner Limits Lounge, 1 Waverly Avenue in Watertown.

I'll be swapping songs with Tim Mungenast, another singer/songwriter whose work is less political (and way more surreal) than mine. We'll do several songs together too, both our own work and old standards (from the rather peculiar corner of rock'n'roll we inhabit), and we will probably do some improvisations and experiments too. (Tim also leads his own rock band, in which I play bass, but the Inner Limits performance will be mainly acoustic instruments at a non-threatening decibel level.)

I'll post more about it as it gets closer to the performance date, and as we rehearse and figure out what we're really going to do.

2. Cool! And right in my hometown!

Now I SHOULD be able to make it to that one. Uh oh--I just looked at a calendar, and it's a Saturday. That could be a problem if there's somewhere else I have to be, but I don't know yet. I promise I WILL try hard to make it to that show.

I've never heard of that venue, but I think I remember there being a bar in that area; probably had a different name.
