Seeing her born 18 months ago is when I really started becoming interested in trying to change the world for the better in my own small way. I have always been pretty liberal & always voted Democrat (save one time for CT Sec of State, I think)... but, for the first time ever, I'm donating money to causes, researching stuff via DU and becoming much more politically aware than in the past.

i went through some tough times and have learned some hard lessons. i should say im still learning some hard lessons but im learning bit by bit. of course everyone has their own experiences and everyone is different.

i have a loving long term relationship and i adore books, music, alternative medicine, seeing things like the protests yesterday on tv (about the only thing i watch except for the red sox!) and finding out there is a huge amd beautiful (online) community that needs bush & co voted out.....

my test is what i would give up to have bush out? i would give up anything but God.
