1. Even the repugs don't know what the hell he is saying
But they don't care! They just want a strong, decisive leader even if he has done nothing but to lead us astray! It's beyond my comprehension what they see in him.

2. What it says
Edited on Mon Aug-30-04 07:45 AM by louis c
is Bush is the biggest dope that ever served in the white house.

and that the Kerry Campaign better figure out a better strategy, because he should be up 20 points, instead of struggling.

Act like Clinton in 1992, when he had the rapid response "War Room" that left no lie unchallenged for more than a few hours.

Drop the Dukakis strategy of sitting around hoping people can see through a smear on their own, because they can't.

If you're tough, get tough. They're playing tackle football and we're playing bad mitten.

3. Sit tight. Kerry trailed Weld and crunched him the final 2 months
Edited on Mon Aug-30-04 07:53 AM by Feeney2
He is a very good debater and beat Weld who also could debate well. As long as the media doesn't let Bush off because he is a dope and we expect that from him Kerry will crunch him.

4. Bush will mop the floor with Kerry in the debates
And, even if Bush doesn't - the media will tell us that Bush won.

Gore had a deserved rep as a great debater prior to Bush.

The thing is that the media & Bush himself will set the expectations so low for him when it comes to the debate that when Bush doesn't drool all over himself while shouting "Heil Hitler", it looks like a victory for him.

6. The United States ain't Mass.
and the Bush team is much more ruthless than the wimps around Weld.

This ain't bean bag. Follow the successful strategies, and drop the losers'.

5. George Orwell is writing *'s speeches?
Edited on Mon Aug-30-04 08:53 AM by cosmicdot
America has no idea how 'badly' things are going in Iraq

Too many people don't care what he is saying ... it doesn't matter to them ... he's symbolically 'something' to them regardless of what he says.

I voted the Edwards line

7. Bush explained what a catstrophic success was
Edited on Mon Aug-30-04 11:20 AM by rocknation
"being so successful so fast that an enemy that should have surrendered or been done in escaped and lived to fight another day."

All we have to do is figure what the Cheney that means...

8. Edwards called it right: Most Americans have no idea what that means...
And this is true about much of what * says.
