4. whew. for a minute I thought you were going to show
freddy and jason and predator and alien halloween costumes. I guess pimps and hos trump serial killers this year.

There is no accounting for bad taste.

My house is in a neighborhood that is on the urban pioneering edge of the ghetto. We have busloads of really poor kids come by the house every year at halloween, mostly with home made costumes, carrying plastic grocery bags usually instead of expensive orange plastic pumpkins.

Great costumes! Little fairies, and ghosts, and funny little goblins and witches and eddie munsters and pirates and bumblebees and princesses. No pimps or ho's though. I guess that's something people who aren't poor do?

13. They trick at their own peril.
I dress as a samurai, usually by the time they realize I am not chasing them anymore they are all the way up the street and looking for a place to change their pants.

Imagine this charging out of a cardboard graveyard with a war whoop loud enough to wake the dead

9. I do, but they are usually accompanying their younger sibs
It's okay - most of them make an effort. The ones that bug me are the little fat brats who double back for a double dip.

From http://www.brandsonsale.com/51104-1-costumes.html

Due to overwhelming demand, our child ho costume is currently sold out. However, we are currently accepting preorders. All preorders will arrive in time for Halloween 2004.

7. JEEBUS... LOL
When pop culture embraces the darkest and shadiest.

FWIW The "Ho" Costume used to be called "The Flapper" but since no one knows what the hell a flapper is anymore I guess it needed a rename.
