Anyone ever play Call of Duty?

Been playing that game at home a lot the past couple of days. I think in a way I prefer it to EA's Medal of Honor because its more team based, youre generally always with other guys and the guys you're with, you see their names, so its more personal and stuff. Great game, I am looking forward to the PS2 version that comes out hopefully soon.

1. I haven't tried it, but it looks pretty similar to WWII Online

which I think came out first. My younger brother likes to play this one, and he's been trying to get me to join his squad.

2. I believe actually that WWII online is more like Battlefield 1942

which is a lot of fun too, but my problem with BF42 is that I can't pilot if my life depended on it and its not as personal, what I mean by personal is that the music helps with the emotion but its a great game. I havent played WWII online, maybe once my internet works at home, I'll buy it.

3. I played it when it came out last year

I loved Call of Duty just as much, if not more than Medal of Honor. Both great games!

My only real problem with medal of honor is that there's too many what I call "James Bond" missions where you have to go at it alone, but since the series has hit the PS2 and PC, I see less and less of that, and the graphics, music, and action combines to make one hell of a game. I have all the medal of honors released including the originals for PS1, its amazing how the series has grown.

5. True

Most FPSers suffer from "James Bond" missions, or what i call "Rambo mode." I'm in the middle of Doom 3, and it's getting boring. Far Cry has been my favorite game for the year. I also can't wait for Half-Life 2!

6. I like squad based games

I only really like historical based FPS's so as a result futuristic games like Halo dont appeal to me but modern action shooters like Syphon Filter, Metal Gear, and Splinter Cell which have a lot of stealth too appeal to me a lot, and games like Hitman.
