When I saw (sadly) what happened to your Conservative Party in Canada (which I thought of as progressive)...when Stephen Harper and his drooling, mouth breathing pinheaded acolytes in the Alliance Party "merged" ("merged" being a euphemism for "take over") with the Conservative Party...I almost wept.
