Anyone know of a good spy-ware remover?
There is an annoying pop-up that keeps comming on my screen no matter where I go. I can't get it to stop. Anyone know any free programs I can use?

1. best one I know of is "Ad-aware"
You can download it for free at www.download.com - gets 'em all too - better than spybot

Good luck to you!

4. I like to use both AdAware and Spybot S&D
a lot of times one of them will find something the other didn't and vice versa. I believe the current URL for Spybot Search & Destroy is at: http://security.kolla.de

Also good for general info is the newsletter from spywareinfo.com. (Their site is inaccessible from time to time though because they've been under a constant denial of service attack for months now...)

8. Agree...
I agree, SpyBot took out a program on a machine I had at work that was rebooting the computer at random. Adaware is a good companion.
