University Of Florida Cheerleading Coach Fired - Sexually Explicit T-Shirt
<snip>

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- University of Florida's cheerleading coach is being fired after giving the squad permission to wear sexually explicit T-shirts at a cheerleading camp.

Gene Moore says he was unfairly terminated for allowing squad members to wear the shirt that listed "Ten Reasons to Cheer Naked." He was fired after the University Athletic Association received complaints.

The firing leaves the squad without a coach three weeks before the first football game. Practices have been temporarily suspended. Moore had been coach for five years.

The squad was attending a college cheerleading camp this week in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, when a couple cheerleaders distributed the T-shirts for Spirit Day. That's when members trade shirts with cheerleaders from other schools.

2. Is it just me or...
Does this sound like a male getting fired for allowing females to sexually harass themselves? I also would like to hear the official reasons given.

5. These were college cheerleaders, all over 18. WTF is the problem?
I hope the cheerleaders are supporting their former coach. This is ridiculous, puritanism at its worst.
