Ark., here I come!!!!!!!!!!!!Yee Haw
Edited on Wed Aug-11-04 05:00 PM by Mikimouse
The department called and made an offer. I accepted quickly, before they had a chance to change their minds. Hmmmmm, lecturer has a very nice ring to it........Professor Mikimouse sounds even better!

9. I will be teaching criminology this semester...
next semester is still to be determined. I am a sociologist and have been for almost ten years. I was a health care professional in one form or other for 25 years, and left because the health care system had just finally become too disgusting for me. The grandchildren I listed in my profile are actually step grandchildren (I love them as if they were my own), and now that their grandmother has decided to divorce me, I don't know if they will keep in touch. I was affiliated with a community college many years ago, teaching Nuclear Medicine, in general, and Nuclear Cardiology, specifically (when I had the opportunity). I also taught all over the east coast in that capacity in the late 80s. Thanks for the congrats, I'm still reeling! :hi:

to be, and I certainly don't feel that I deserve it, but I will take it and run with it. I teach sociology, with primary specialties in Disaster research and the Sociology of Gender. Secondary specialties are medical and psychiatric sociology.

24. Hmmm, forensic psychology?
much of the current disaster literature has been written by psychologists. Lindell and Perry for example. Most recently, I was involved in studying the 1998 Cuero flood (Guadalupe and Blanco rivers), and the community response to the flood.
