OMG! I just got an invite to a dinner.
In my neighborhood. For the Bush campaign. Guess who will be there?

OMG. The prices.

2. It's just so odd
For months, we've been receiving RNC surveys. We're not Repubs. Dh and I are Dems and have been forever. I cannot believe that we received an invite.

If I were to go (which I won't because I don't have a spare couple of k to throw at an opposition party), I'd have to give my SS# on the rsvp. Wouldn't they figure out that I'm a dem and so is dh?????

4. Oh, I thought it was free
Naturally, why would the Repukes offer a free gathering with food? What on earth was I thinking when I posted earlier? :)

5. The cheapest ticket
is $1k per person. The most expensive is $15k per couple.

Well, I guess this opportunity may just have to be passed up. Now, if I were to get an invite to see the *future* first lady, I'd snap up the chance in a heartbeat.

6. Is there a postage-paid envelope, per chance?
I always love "using" them. ;)

7. Not this time, unfortunately.
Just an envelope that goes to one of my neighbors, who apparently is a Bush supporter.
