Poll question: Do you look younger or older?
Well, I guess it is not PC to ask wome to praticipate in this poll but since it is anonymous you can still vote :)

I am a man at 30 and I actually look younger. Both men and women thinks I am 21 or 22 which is quite confusing to me. I mean it is good to look younger but when I hear "Hey kid" from people younger than me it is really disturbing.

Anyway, feel free to vote in my poll.

1. I'm 23 and I look like I'm in my thirties.
Complete with wrinkles and a few grey hairs. I don't care, though.

4. I'm 53 and people have said I look 38
which shocked me to no end. A couple years off, you figure its politeness....I think the reason is that I haven't gone very grey yet-for once, having mousy brown hair is a bonus!

6. I'm 41 and people think I'm 25
EVERYONE says this; I always enjoy the surprised looks I get when I tell someone my age. I've had to show my driver's license to a few unbelieving folks.

16. everybody gets carded now, I'm 45
Not to be a "b" but it isn't like in the old days. All it means is that some undercover guy just went through and got somebody fired/fined. I get carded all the time. Even in the WalMart the other day and the poor clerk was so embarrassed but she says she cards everyone now...one of her friends lost her job after many years...because of one undercover agent (not even a "real" minor) slipping through a purchase. I've seen people with grey hair get carded. It's really ridiculous. It's no longer flattering just an invasion of privacy. No 45 year old looks like a minor. I always try to smile and laugh and put the clerk at ease but I don't really blame people for getting upset. One time I saw a lady scream at the clerk, "I'm 52 and I'm sick of this ****!" They still made her show her ID and I hate to tell you, probably the real reason she was so mad, is that looking at her face I could tell she was way more than 52. But she was skinny, so maybe she was a teen-ager in disguise, yeah, right. A real good disguise!!!

11. I Had a Woman Behind Me In Line At the Store
Tell me I didn't look like I was young enough to have a kid in diapers (I don't have any kids at all, she was looking at someone else's stuff).

She said I didn't look like I was YOUNG ENOUGH to have kids in diapers. She thought all my kids would be older than that.

I'm 24.

My friends say I don't look that old... that I look about my age. They say that people might think I'm older if they hear me talk -- but this lady hadn't heard me talk. She just assumed I was... what? 40? 45? How old would I have to be for it to be inconceivable that I would have any kids in diapers?

12. I'll be 44 next month...
and I've been told by a lot of people that I look like I'm in my early 30s. If I didn't have a receding hairline, I'd probably look even younger. Both my parents are in their 70s, and they look young, too. Good genes, I guess.

13. I got the baby face genes from my dad...
No one ever guesses my age. I'm 43 and usually am mistaken for mid to late 20s. I freak people out when I tell them I have two sons that are 26 and 23. As a BBW model I list my age as 28 just to be competitive. Not many magazines want to shoot a 43 year old model.

17. wow you do look young
There is Over Forty magazine (explicit) that often advertises for models, and they've had some BBWs, but it probably isn't worth coming out as a fortysomething when you can pass for your twenties!

18. really does depend
If I dont shave and I have my work ID badge on, I look older by a good 2-5 years I think, havent proved this valid yet being i havent tried to buy cigs or porn or alcohol at the airport where I work yet. But when I am clean shaved, I look around the same age, maybe slightly older.
