For Any Gov't Worker With Annual Leave! Help my Friend!

Anyone here with Federal annual leave (4 and a half hours minimum)

My good friend, Charles Crawford recently suffered a brain aneurysm and is in a Washington DC hospital. He is a blind man who was on a guide dogs board I was on and we knew each other for several years.

He has been deemed eligible for the Annual Leave Donation program and his recovery time is estimated to be around three months. If any of you have accrued federal leave time coming (it must be Annual Leave time and in a minimum of 4 and a half hours) please consider donating some to Charles. He is very politically active, both with the Seeing Eye, and with the American Council of the blind and other worthwhile causes, as well as being one of the lobbyists for blind Americans!

That's all the info I have!

Charles Crawford works and (I think) lives in Washington DC.

I don't know if there is a central registry or what. The person who told me just said he had been deemed "eligible for the donated vacation hours program" without further information. Since I'm not a government employee, it's ALL Greek to me!

4. As I said, in the other post,

I don't have any more info than that Charles Crawford is a government worker in Washington DC and he may live there or nearby.

Since I'm not a government worker, I don't know what programs exist or how they're run. The person who told me simply said that Charles had been deemed eligible for the vacation time donation program. That's all I know.

If I find any more info, I'll let y'all know.
