TWO people gave him anti-bush cards. one old lady said "I'm not going to sign this in case you are a Republican"

Dadcom laughed and told her Bush forced him to register as an Indy. EVERYONE at the party chimed up and said they were former repukes NOT voting for Bush!

Its an elderly community and they are apparently PISSED OFF at the AARP for supporting Shrub!

Mom said that she NEVER has seen political talk at their parties before and she hadn't seen people discussing Politics like this since the 60's.

She said it was surreal

I had a similiar experience at a family gathering at the end of June. Everyone one of the family "retirees" all said Bushco has to go. Made the day for me.

The elderly remember what life was like during the Depression and WWII and they didn't forget the lessons they learned then.
