Son wants a music CD...I am at a loss...don't know what he wants

He wants a CD that has a song that was being played on the radio...lyrics basically say something about "the new kid" being really popular, but that it will fade, because "I was once the new kid, too."

Anyone know who the artist is? Name of CD? Thanks. :-)

(And, no, Dookus, he doesn't want a laptop. ;-) )

2. Try this site, I put in "New Kid" as the title

and got a bunch of hits, any one of them could be the one - but if you register (free), you can hear a piece of each song, and your son might be able to say which one it is:

Also, if you have iTunes, put the title in search and another bunch come up you can listen to.
