Creed?!?!?! What the heck was I thinking?

A few of you may remember that sometime last year (okay, maybe you don't) I posted a couple replies on music-related threads confessing I "kind of liked Creed." Fortunately, I never did buy one of their CDs, and now their songs sound like pretty lame crap next to the Nirvana CDs I bought this year.

Could someone tell me what I was thinking back then? Was it delirium? Too much radiation from my microwave? A mineral deficiency? Your thoughts.

...lousy, down-on-one-knee-clutching-the-microphone-by-the-head-in-both-hands-head-turned-downward-gravelvoiced-introspective-sensitive-guy-postmodern-one-guy-in-the-band-wearing-a-knitted-skull-cap-power-anthem-rock sucks.

It started with Pearl Jam, and continues with a million other bands who sound just like Pearl Jam, but manage to say even less, even though I would have thought that impossible.
