Barring the end of the world, we're taking our first real vacation

next month. Leaving here on the 10th. of September, crossing Kansas to Pueblo Co. the first day. Then taking u.s. 50 through the mountains, back north to Grand Junction, west across Utah to Cedar City. Third day out Zion National, find a motel in Kanab, and the North rim of the Grand Canyon. Fourth day, Monument Valley and on to Daddie's house in New Mexico. After a couple of days there we'll head home across Texas and Oklahoma.
So if Armmageddon doesn't start between now and then, or if we aren't in marshall law so chicken george* can skip the debate we're off to see the wizard.

Keep in mind, you cant buy beer in most places in Utah on Sundays, cant order a beer in a restaurant, and the hard stuff is only sold in state liquor stores.

I was born in GJ by the way. Havent been back in years but it used to be a nice little town.

if the world really ends while you're gone, you don't have to come back from vacation. ;-)
