I love all three of them.

Should I seek help?

my purplehappyfish is also a law and order junkie. Get help now.

The first step is in admitting that you have a problem.

4. I was just reading a psychology book and
noticed, coincidentally, that according to the ever-expanding book of Diagnostic Illnesses and several double-blind tests, watching more than two "Law and Order" repeats does indeed constitute psychosis. fyi

5. Ugh... That show is excellent but WAY TOO SAD...

I read enough depressing news & serious books...

When I watch TV, I want to escape...

6. nope
Law and Order is really good stuff. While I prefer the original, if I'm channel-surfing and encounter any L&O, I'll watch.

Ditto for Star Trek.

i watch them all the time; my favorite migrates around; i like the detectives on SVU, but i really like lenny on the normal ones, and CI is like a sherlock holmes kind of thing...

I have been known to watch four or five in a row. I prefer the original flavor, but they're all tasty.

Best closing scene of all time:

ADAM: "'The truth is ugly, so we put our prophets in prison.'"
BEN: "Oscar Wilde?"
ADAM: "Charles Manson."

9. No, as long as, if you are watching,
and suddenly realize you already have the episode memorized, you have the wherewithal to switch off.

13. No.
They are almost the only thing I ever watch on tv.

I don't know why; I like the detectives. It makes a comforting, familiar background.

I only watch SVU myself. I like the 2 lead detectives on there the most.

15. No, you're fine. Oh and speak of the devil, here's L&A Criminal Intent
now.

(Another show I absolutely love is Cold Case. It was just on. The stories are great and the soundtrack is always amazing.)

18. L&O is good tv at it's best...
Well written, deep characters, great dialogue. I enjoy the whole series. And the reruns are great, but they tend to replay the same few over and over and over again. Help seeking not needed. You're perfectly sane.
