I am in an 80's mood right now. I can't tell you why.

I turned 19 in 1980. It was the soundtrack to my independent youth.

Alas, the music sorta sucked, but it was a lot of fun. Seriously, there are more artists from the 60's still popular than from the 80's - and the 70's, which everybody agreed sucked at the time, are the staples of tours.

Who's can sell out a stadium today who got big in the 80's? Oddly enough, Madonna and U2.

And yet The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Aerosmith, The Eagles (!) et. al. are the big tour leaders.
