Poll question: In your mind, who should play the next James Bond?
Some of these are serious. Others are, you guessed it, quite jocular and flppant in typical Toady fashion! :D

14. I was going to vote for Rupert Everett until...
I saw your post. I agree, Ewan McGregor would be great. I have the biggest crush on him and boy can he sing. Although not a requirement for James Bond, unless they did a musical Bond.

OK, scratch the musical idea, but keep Ewan... :-)

is it out on video/DVD? I just saw the movie Little Voice with him in it (good movie btw) and he did an excellent job. No nudity though, sorry to say...sad really.

24. His nickname is "Free Willie"
Yeah, rent "Pillow Book" -- it's a Peter Greenaway movie -- the same guy who did "The Cook, The Theif, His Wife & Her Lover"

Very abstract, very twisted -- pretty wild trip, I dig it

25. I saw "The Cook, The Theif..." Great movie.
I just read the synopsis of Pillow Book. One happy camper right here. I am off to pester the video store clerk tomorrow, thanks for the suggestion and supporting my Ewan obsession, errr..I mean admiration.

2. Hugh Grant
but that's just me. He must have the IQ of a stick to make the decision that a skanky street whore was a better choice than Elizabeth Hurley, but he looks and sounds like my visualization of Bond. I read the books long before there was a movie and no one has fit my image.

Clive Owen. I've been watching him on BBC for years. Tall enough, smooth enough, and those eyes.

21. I voted Elmo
I thought Pierce Brosnan was OK in the role...if it was a question of age...Elmo hasn't changed much in the last few decades SS has been on the air. However, I don't the CTW would take too kindly for Elmo doing the kinky stuff and offing people...

LOL, Just kidding I never was really a James Bond fan. But seriously maybe Hugh Grant, I just think he might be too goofy for the part.
