20. My House

I was planning on having it stuccoed again, get a few new windows, have the dry wall replaced in the front room, painted and carpeted. A lot of work, but things I needed done. Now 1/3 of it is getting torn down and rebuilt. I have holes in my floor and dust everywhere. I was hoping this would get done before I go back to school, but I doubt it. They wanted to take the roof off, but that would mean we would have to find a place to live. Oh yes, I'm sure there is not place that will take two hippies with 5 cats for only a month or two. Plus I just had a new roof put on my house 7 years ago. I have 33 year in my 40 year guarantee left. I won't even go into just how much more it is going to cost.
