Pat Benatar's New CD: "Go"

Any Benatar fans here? After a very long and stressful day, I'm listening to her new "Go" album and it's just what I needed to recharge my batteries.

The lead song "Go" really updates her sound a bit. The rest is more traditional Benatar.

I'm stoked... and getting really excited because "The Curse of Blondie" comes out next month on my birthday.

I'm more a Debhead... but Benatar always been right there for me as well.

So glad my fave 'Women of Rock' idols are still going strong and satisfying their fan's fix long after the mainstream moved beyond them.

They're like friends who've never left me. :)

were staples of my teen years. I was 11 in 1980 and addicted to top-40 radio from about 1978 until 1987. Then it all went to s**t.

I was 14 in 1980. Blondie and Pat Benatar ruled my world back then. Was also a big Top 40 fan.

It did go to sh*t around 1987 or so... or maybe it's just that we grew up? Nah.

Oh well... Hell is for children.
