3. I've been working on that for 5 years now
He's been eating cat diet food in portions, and he spent a year as a vegan. No change in size.

He does not get table scraps or anything like people food at all. He gets no kitty treats of any kind. He gets daily exercise from me and my wife.

So chill out on the animal rights nonsense. I take care of my cat the best I can, but his weight problem is something that even vets can't figure out. Just like people, some cats have serious weight problems.
