I've never admitted it to anyone....its my first time.

Anyone else going? I'd love to meet some DU'ers.

2. Dr Who travelling tour.
About 17 years ago. My son, now 19, got so scared of the Supreme Dalek that we had to take him outside. He liked K9 though.

EXTERMINATE EXTERMINATE....Good times.

8. I've been to one in the 90s and...
I went to hear Gene Roddenberry speak in the 70s. Both were excellent experiences.

I hear that the Star Trek museum, or whatever it is, is a lot of fun. I've always wanted to go, so you'll have to enjoy for me as well as yourself.

9. I missed last year's con in Minneapolis...
All the surviving TOS Trek actors.

TOS is the best and holds up where all the Berman series' fall flat. Which is great as Bermans' series rely on pretty FX and technobabble and science that'll ultimately be debunked anyway. :-)

10. I hope you enjoy yourself & it doesn't turn out like the last one I
attended.

(Bad things happened that weren't Trek related. I don't want to scare you, as it's your first Con, so let me stress it again--it wasn't about the Con. What happened could have happened in anyone's neighborhood. Lets just say there was a major domestic disturbance at the Con that had nothing to do with the event.)

11. WHEN is it? It's been a long time since
I've been to a media sci fi con. I used to go to Dr Who conventions with great regularity in the 1980s. That's how I ended up in St Louis.
