...to get someone back into college? This is not for me. This is for someone else. But I am not too familiar with this. Tell me anything you know.

1. Write up a petition, then hit the streets with it
and while you're doing it, especailly in the beginning, try to get as many of the signers to take copies of the petition to other people so that you aren't the only trying to get signatures.

Good luck!

Grassroots movements are the movements that change the world.

2. Do you think we could band together to start one here?

It is for a fellow DU'er to get back into college and get the degree that she deserves.

3. Sure you could
if you want it in a thread woi't disappear if people don't answer it, you'd need a thread that sits at the top of the page, for which ytou'd need to speak with Skinner, I would assume.

Or you can start a website, and include a link to it in a thread and in your sigline, etc.

Or just post a form letter on a website somewhere, talk about it here, and have people send their own letters to the Dean of the school. A flood of letters could be impressive, perhaps more so than a petition. But on the other hand, a document filled with signatures is visually quite a dramatic thing to see.

But whatever. Pick your own way, whatever it is, which is always better than nothing, and go for it.

And ask permission from the other DUer first, of course.
