Lethal Weapon (1 - 4)

I know Mel Gibson is not a number one favorite on the board, however, I did like his work in Lethal Weapon.

Of the four movies, I like the original and love 4. Two and three dangerously approach shark-jumping, but are still pretty good.

But couldn't stand #4.

I think I became very emotionally involved with the dramatic themes and the soulfulness of the first 3, and then saw four and was totally disillusioned with it. It totally lacked the subtlety of the early ones and Mel Gibson and Danny Glover were like caricatures of their characters Riggs and Murdoch.

The soundtracks to 1-3 are also very beautiful and soulful. Really lonely music.
