and I'm really really bad at telling people when I'm angry with them. I feel like screaming til I'm hoarse and hitting something (or someone). I hate feeling like this. :(

Although I am horrible at taking my own advice, you're just going to have to tell whoever has angered you. Letting it fester isn't going to help. You'll just end up exploding at them.

And of course you are absolutely right. The amount of anger I feel right now is completely out of proportion to the infraction and I know it's because I push so much stuff down and let it fester. I'm going to end up exploding on someone one of these days in a way that they totally don't deserve.

Why can't you tell them? Can you write it down to get it out of your system? I find working out to really loud music helps me.

to dissipate the worst of it. I've been inundated with company and then was traveling for work recently and haven't been to the gym in a few days. That certainly isn't helping.

12. Anger is great energy!

When I'm angry I pull weeds. Or if there's time to take on a mammoth task like cleaning the basement, I'll take advantage of my anger, and pursue the task with a vengeance.

It's much easier to throw away crap that you don't really need when you're angry. Scrubbing floors with an acid brush, preferably on hands and knees is wonderfully therapeutic...It's as if you're scrubbing away all the bullshit you have to deal with.

14. Sometimes you're right...

when I'm angry in a general way at the world or pissed off about politics or something like that I have that angry energy. When I'm pissed off at a friend...it's just the opposite. I just feel like crawling under a blanket and not coming out for a while.
