Bush's 2002 "Vision"...so how's he doing so far?
Three random quotes from the 2002 archives of the Presidential Prayer Team. Has he met or exceeded his stated goals? Or should he be sent to bed without dessert?

"I also want our country to continue to embrace the values that make our nation so wonderful. I believe the great strength of our country lies not in our halls of government, but in the hearts and souls of the American people. It's a million acts of kindness and compassion on a daily basis that define the true spirit and the true strength of America. We live in a blessed land. It's a society which says, you've got to love your neighbor just like you love yourself. That's the spirit of America that I know."

"One of the reasons I first ran for office was I was concerned about a culture which said, 'If it feels good, do it.' The second half of that is, if you've got a problem, blame somebody else. And my wish for the country is that we usher in a period of personal responsibility. That means if you're a mother or a father, your most important job is to love your children with all your heart and all your soul. That's really what a period of personal responsibility means; we all rededicate ourselves to the parenting, if we're fortunate enough to have a child. Or it means that you'll love a neighbor like you'd like to be loved yourself."

"On the day I became President, I talked of liberty as a seed upon the wind, taking root in many nations. For over two decades, our hemisphere has been fertile ground for freedom. So many men and women have left the shadow of oppression and fear. This is not the time to grow timid or weary. Freedom is still our best weapon against tyranny and want. In so many places in this hemisphere liberty has been won. Now the blessings of liberty must be extended to every life."
--George W. Bush

2. "Are you gonna bark all day, little doggy, or are you gonna bite?"
I don't really get the significance of the Mr. Blonde pic.

Does it mean that Bush is Mr. Blonde, and we're the cop tied to the chair with our ear cut off?

Or is Bush the cop, and we're Mr. Blonde, with the hacked-off ear representing Bush's lost credibility, and the gasoline is the tide of public opinion turning against Bush, and the lighter is John Kerry?

Is that it?

3. Cold blooded shit to say:

Now I'm thinkin', it could

mean you're the evil man. And I'm

the righteous man. And Mr. 9mm

here, he's the shepherd protecting

my righteous ass in the valley of

darkness. Or it could be you're

the righteous man and I'm the

shepherd and it's the world that's

evil and selfish. I'd like that.

But that shit ain't the truth. The

truth is: you're the weak. And I'm

the tyranny of evil men. But I'm

tryin', Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be

the shepherd.

4. It's because of Mr. Blonde's reply to the cop
"I don't care...because I'm gonna torture you ANYWAY."

Bush doesn't care, he's going to do what he's going to do no matter how much anyone objects.

Bush IS Mr. Blonde.
