Inanity
Oh, that all of life could be conducted in the manner of a crowded Mexican bus ride.

12. i lived in so. california for about two years
Between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. Every summer my family and I would drive up the coast. Our favorite spots were Cambria, near San Simeon, where William Randolph Hearst built his castle; and Monterey, with its aquarium and excellent waves. There was also a restaurant between Cambria and Monterrey, in Big Sur I think, called Nepenthe that had the most amazing view.

God I miss California. I was dragged back kicking and screaming and biting back to Texas.

16. Nepenthe rocks! And the Ambrosia burger is divine!!!
The view is otherworldly - I love it there!
The whole central coast, Big Sur, etc are some of my favorite memories.

When you mentioned Nepenthe, you drove me into a tizzy recalling those Ambrosia burgers!!! :bounce:

18. I love Cambria - especially Moonstone Beach
as I am also a rock & geology fanatic (yes, one more notch in my geek belt).

I can never resist a stop at the Madonna Inn in SLO. It looks like someone's Pepto Bismol-induced nightmare. And it smells mildewy. But man, I've always wanted to stay in the caveman room. Kind of get back to my roots, you know.:hi:

7. I drove NEAR there.
Actually got as far south from SF as Santa Cruz before heading back from whence I came. Beautiful. Monterrey, Mexico is supposed to be pretty, too.

10. Actually,
I've been wondering how when people explain a type of meat they ate, they always say it tastes like chicken. If thats so, then why don't you just eat chicken!

19. And isn't this a picture of his co-host on the TV show?

Maybe not. This comb has more personality and backbone than the one that co-hosts that Faux show with him...
