Randi Rhodes just said married sex sucks.
Let's face it. Have your best sexual experiences been married sex or extra-marital sex?

Be honest. Let's hear it.

Having a lover who knows your body (and whose body you know) makes sex a lot more of a loving experience, and more enjoyable.

22. Hear hear
...if your married sex isn't as good as your non-married sex, then maybe you shouldn't be married.

I'd say the reality is that the thought of scandal and impropriety is the hot part. The sex is just a resolution...one that usually leads to a huge nasty emotional problem down the road.

I don't know about the rest of you, but, after years of relationships, finding the one woman who hit all the right notes intellectually, physically, and emotionally makes every encounter a goddamn revelation.

I couldn't imagine anything better.

Of course, I might just be very lucky, or she's just cheating on me and I don't realize it yet... ;-)

10. It's not that married sex sucks....
It's like food. If you eat the same meal everyday it can get dull. Even if you love that meal. You have to keep adding different spices to that meal. The excitement is always high when you discover something new.

15. YOU ARE FUCKING CRAZY
if you think married sex sucks.

This is a personal issue, so I'll choose to keep the details out.

I've been married for 4 years, but I have been with my wife and no others for about 7 years. The best single sexual experience of my life was one amazing time with my wife before we were married.
I won't go into details about what made it so great, but it stands out in my mind as my best single experience.

As for best overall sexual partner. Sex with my wife is GREAT!!! Sex with girls in high school, college and after school, be it a one night stands, short flings or and longer type relationships, was usually very good. Sex with my wife is usually amazing.

Sure there are times where for whatever reason its not all fireworks, but if I had to put a percentage on it, I'd say 90% of my post-mariage sex has been great.
We haven't slowed down much in either quantity or quality. In fact my wife would probably say the quality has improved.

Anyway, my vote is that Married Sex rocks.

27. Married sex SUCKS.
LTR sex sucks, too. Face it, nothing compares to the first 6 months of a new relationship.

After 6 months, or the "I Do"s, you start taking for granted that the other will ALWAYS be there for you, so if you'd rather spend the night on-line, or read, or (horrors!) watch the TV in the bedroom instead of make love, so what? there's always NEXT year!

Never experienced extra-marital sex, but there's been plenty of pre and a little post marital sex, so I DO have a standard of comparison.

Ahh, but ignore me, I'm just bitter because I've been fucked-over too many times...

Unless you've married someone that is so sexually compatible with you married sex can be way beyond boring.

It just invites those who feel that way to cheat.

43. Disagree
I remember one day, before we had kids, my wife just popped in from some shopping with a dirty little video and some toys. Boy it was fun! Married sex is what you make of it. If you do it the same way, in the same place, week after week, any sex gets boring.

31. Married
Maybe, that's because my best relationship (which included sex) that I have had has been with my husband. The other guys really didn't care about me as much in more ways than one. I am definitely having more sex with my husband than I did when I was with any other guy. I don't know if age has something to do with it. I was 19 when I met my husband and started having sex with him. I suppose that people who were older when they met their spouse and had a lot of different partners may have a different set of experiences.

"What's with all the sex threads?"

Would you rather discuss the origins of the universe? Fermat's theorem? Einstein's theory of relativity? The Federalist Papers?
Quantum mechanics? Nuclear fusion? Hamilton's bad aim during his duel with Burr? Did Hitler really have agent provocateurs set the Reichstag fire? Was Shane dead in the last scene of the movie?

Give me a subject more intriguing, exotic and just plain more compelling than sex, and I'll be glad to discuss it with you.

there only about only 67 mathematicians on the face of the planet who can understand the solution. So would you rather discuss the solution to Fermat's last theorem, or some down and dirty, hard core fucking?

Sorry, just read your last post again. No attack intended. Let sex discussions flow in all their glory. After all, if it weren't for sex, where would we all be? Only on conservative websites do people think their mother and father never got it on.

And if there are any reading this that have a problem with sex, wash your sheets before your mother/father/husband/wife/girlfriend/boyfriend/priest/confidant/best friend/keeper or parole officer shows up.

58. Hard to say.
Didn't have much experience before I met my husband (I've been with him since I was 18). Really, just one relationship that was a complete sexual relationship, but even that was just a few times.

It would be a violation of privacy to publically post our issues in detail, but I'll just say for me personally, I'm fully and completely comfortable with that part of myself anyway and someday I'll probably be better able to answer this question.
