14. No, it's the C.R.A.P. SOBs we're having the trouble with...
Edited on Mon Jun-28-04 05:52 PM by Interrobang
The Tories really aren't as bad as the C.R.A.P.s, Mulroney notwithstanding. (Actually, Stephen "I Look And Act Just Like Newt Gingrich" Harper would be worse than Mulroney.)

I voted. I was stunned at how many people were at my polling place at 3:30 on a Monday afternoon. I was also stunned at how many candidates we had in my riding (London North-Centre) -- Liberal, Conservative (aka C*anadian R*eform A*lliance P*arty), Progressive Conservative (aka Tories, Red Tories), New Democrat Party, Green, and Marxist-Leninist (!).

Now all we have to do is bite our nails until the returns come in...

Remember, vote early, vote often! :)

On edit: Extraneous comma removed, snarky comment added. ;-)

16. No...
The PC party still exists, at least to some nominal degree -- they were running a candidate in my riding! There are some Red Tory refuseniks out there (including, I might add, the very high-profile Joe Who) who just didn't go along with the merger. Hence the appearance of a PC candidate on the ballot in London North-Centre.

And I beg to differ with you -- the C.R.A.P.s are not the "Reform Party" anymore; ever since that fateful day, they were -- and ever shall be -- the Canadian Reform Alliance Party. :)

3. I'm just on my way

But it's frustrating, because living in Harper's riding, I don't feel my vote counts for a hell of a lot. But I'm going anyway, 'cause if I don't I won't be able to complain.

Missing sig line insults Harper. Just so everyone knows.

5. What would be amazing
is if Harper didn't win in his own riding.
I would laugh so hard.
That would be PERFECT.

9. Riding?
I'm not familiar with that term -- is it a precinct? Legislative district? Something else altogether?

Excuse my ignorance. :dunce:

7. I know how you feel. To my great surprise I live in
Duceppe's riding.

However think of the $1.75 your chosen party will get.

Not a Canadian, but checked out the NDP a bit. I thought they had a very sensible approach.
