Movies You Hated But Didn't See

Since it seems that the other side has the ability to endlessly critique movies before they've seen them, I think it's only fitting that we try out their tactics.

I didn't see "The Passion of Christ", but boy, did it suck! Seriously, a white boy for Messiah? What a hoot!

I didn't see "Heaven's Gate", but the acting was simply horrible. I don't know any of the actor's names and I don't know the plot, but the whole thing was terrible. I have many other unspecified complaints as well.

I didn't see "Pearl Harbor", but that movie was ruined by the political leanings of Ben Affleck. And I don't agree with the way his relationships go, so the movie sucks.

C'mon, you know you're dying to critique an unseen movie!

4. Not political,

but the advertisements gave me the idea the movie would likely be very stupid, it was called: Baby Geniuses

I really don't want to see it.

And I watched parts of Moulin Rouge and I really hated it. It just looked bad. Really bad.

I do plan on seeing "Passion Of The Christ" when it comes out. I'd hate to deem it a RW movie. I'd think that Jesus can be claimed by just about anyone, regardless of political persuasion. I cringe when people try to make it political.

Unfortunately, there's not too many memorable RW movies out there. The only decent one was "Red Dawn".

I watched the first half hour, then rewound it and returned it to the video store.

Total piece of Hollywood fluff, not worth 2 hours out of my life.

8. I never saw "Beaches," but GOD, what a piece of crap movie that was!

I'm pretty sure it was... all my Republican-type girlfriends would go see it over and over again, just because they enjoyed crying in theaters.

Same goes for "Ghost." Never saw it, but I'm pretty sure it sucked!!

10. Godfather I, II,III

Mostly the icky scenes and violence that i was told to me. I really hate violent film unless they are Sci-Fi or fantasy (clean violence).

The 5 minute bursts I saw of the first one were the same sophomoric crap as every other "teen" movie. A little of that stuff is funny once in a while, but Jesus Christ, people were acting like it was fucking Citizen Kane

13. Titanic and Schindler's List

I will never see Titanic because I've avoided it for so long it's come to feel almost like a matter of principle to continue avoiding it.

Schindler's List beacause when it came out my whole family was so insistent that it was a crucial part of the Jewish experience to have seen it that I became a backlash of one. I've made it my goal to have a tombstone that reads "The Only Jew Who Never Saw Schindler's List." Besides, my dad was a holocaust survivor, I KNOW the score - what the hell could I possibly need from a treacly, manipulative driector like Steven Spielberg?
