1. Ferrets cost about $150 here in Tulsa
I got mine from a friend though who couldn't keep her. There are always ferret rescue organizations where you can get up a loving tube rat for less.

2. Depends - Petstore (where you SHOULDN'T get one)
about $120 each.

Private breeders - difficult to find, and cost varies.

Shelter - best option, and much much cheaper.

Please, please, PLEASE don't get a ferret unless you are willing to devote a LOT of time, expense, and their entire lifetime for them.

They're not low maintenence pets.

3. Ferrets are not money.
Most countries do not recognise ferrets as legal tender. Trying to pass a ferret as currency may be a violation of federal law.

Ferret forgery - Just say no.

5. What's the exchange rate?
Check the market. Against Euros? Canadian? I'm stumped.

Seriously, count on bathing them every other day or so. They love it; you might not.

7. Anywhere from $100-$150 each.

They kinda smell funny though. (not funny "ha ha", either)

If you get some, make sure you get a ferret litter pan. It's high on the corner, as the little bastards like to elevate their butts as high as possible when they poop. If you use a regular one, they'll crap over the side of it.

EDIT: Also, the albino ones tend to be a little more neurotic (if that's possible) than the regular ones.

But their cage cost $200, plus vet costs, food costs, accessory costs, etc. They're expensive little guys. On edit: I have to agree with the above poster. It is a much better idea to rescue one from a shelter or rescue org..
