1. Absolutely speaking...
...I really think it's probably 1999, but I figured that would get a ton of votes, so I clicked "Lovesexy" I think it's by far the most underappreciated.

5. Honestly, I lost interest in Prince after "Gold"
I think that was the name, right? The stuff he put out was very self-indulgent, obviously stuff that he enjoyed, but not all that interesting to me. His new "comeback" record seems okay, but it doesn't hold a candle to the older stuff.

I hear he's become a Jehovah's Witness and will no longer do any of the blue stuff after this tour. That's too bad...

11. It's so.
I hear they recruited him after Michael Jackson defected to Scientology for Lisa Marie (but Jermaine converted him to Islam now, I think)

4. I'll go with 1999
A better poll would be best song.

My choice would be either "Little Red Corvette" or "When Doves Cry". "Controversy" would be a close third for best song.

12. I love his "popular" ones, but my favorite
not so popular one is The Beautiful Ones. The way he did it in the movie Purple Rain was excellent.

(worlds oldest living Prince fan)

9. Emancipation, The Truth, Exodus, The Undertaker...
I could never pick one favorite, but those are a few in a large group I'd include with your poll choices. The Truth is part of the Crystal Ball package, but really a distinct collection on its own.

10. Pfft! Prince was done long before Purple Rain came out.
His first two records 1978's 'For You' and 1979's 'Prince' were his best. The 80's were crap for Prince.

90's? 00's? Not a clue.
