1. yup. 2nd week
kind of weird but not bad. takes about a week to kick in. i am 10 days into it and went from 1 1/2 packs to about 6 cigs a day now. don't want any more than that and frankly, don't even want those.

be prepared for a couple of sleepless nights and after that some WILD dreams but other than that, do it.

its an 8 week program so ask me after that if i have quit all the way.

GOOD LUCK!

i'm also taking lamictal and that is already giving me nightmares, so i don't need anymore.

2. I'm on it...
but not to quit smoking. I'm on it for more energy and clearer thinking.

I started it 8 days ago, and so far I've been very energetic. I'm liking it. :)

10. I haven't tken it for a few years
but at one point several years ago I was taking Welbutrin and Prozac,
The Welbutrin was for the reasons you are. It worked pretty good.
That was maybe 10 years ago.

I have recently spoken to the Dr. about this, but haven't gone back on it yet. Right now I just take Prozac.

Doc changed my prescription to Effexor for a while, because Prozac was supposed to have a bad reaction with a cholesterol drug they put me on after a heart scare.

I have since made it clear that I'd rather risk a heart attack than what Effexor was putting me through, So now I'm back on Prozac . . . but considering Wellbutrin again as well.

11. um...
it's a bit compLicated in that, she was a guinea pig for a few years with up to 20 meds a month.

now they've honed their precision and she's on much Less. weLLbutrin does work weLL as far as i can teLL, but she hates it aLL.

some of the things she's been doing since going on the weLLbutrin:

- Leave the house on her own

- drive

- interact with strangers

- aLL around more confidence

which she couLdn't do before the meds, so i reccomend it.

I had depression . It did good for me .

The best way to describe it is It lifted a fog
and cleared up my outlook . Instead of seeing
a mountain of overwhelming hopeless obstacles
I was able to clearly see each thing individually
and I was able to feel I could overcome small
things . I was able to focuss better .

I did not "MAKE ME HAPPY" like prozac etc.....
It just brought my head out of the fog of depression.

I hope that helps , Best wishes to you .
