why isnt someone screaming for impeachment? why aren't our officials doing something?

it seems to me how silly it was a few years ago that the republicans had their fangs out for impeachment based on things such as-- for whitewater--monica--<post your favorite here>

In the hands of Republicans who hold all the power and refuse to advance impeachment proceedings. They ruled just yesterday against issuing a subpoena to prove Ashcroft's lie.
