1. You hate me and I hate you!
you never understand the things I say or do,
so what's new?
You never wanted me so I say,
FUCK YOU!
You know you know that you don't like me and I don't like you!

2. Oh, lots of 'em
My favorite ALBUMS (as opposed to SONGS) would be the two that he recorded on Homestead Records (!!!) in the late '80s, "You Give Love A Bad Name" and "Freaks Faggots Drunks and Junkies."

(As many old indie fans know, Homestead Records was a hipster indie label specializing in the kind of music that was labeled at the time as "college radio" -- we're talking bands like Pastels or Yo La Tengo or Big Dipper. It was run by Gerard Cosloy, the guy who would go on to start Matador Records. So to have GG on that label was quite a bizarre pairing.)

"Freaks" (1988) was the last album he made before going to jail, and it's also the last stuff he did that I found entertaining. Everything else after that is kinda predictable even if demented.

4. "Eat My Fuckin' Diarrhea"
Yes folks, that really is the title of a G.G. Allin song. First time I heard it, I couldn't stop laughing!

5. BTW my favorite is "Blood for you" from the Doctrine of Mayhem album
The electric version of course, although the acoustic version is not without its charms

6. "Shove a cross up a Nun's Cunt" is a real foot tapper.
GG was a sick bastard. I saw him in NYC before he died, what a crazy show.

9. did the show last more than three songs?
GG's shows were notorious for lasting for maybe about that long before the club owners pulled the plug, and usually by that time half the audience had already fled.

11. Was going to go see him one night in a newer club in Boston
(All the other clubs had long ago banned him.) But the plug got pulled during soundcheck when GG came out and relieved himself on the stage.

13. Yeah he actually got through about 9 tunes before they stopped it.
That's when he shit in his hand and started throwing it into the crowd. Fortunately, I was made aware of this happening in previous shows and stood in the back. He came out completely naked except for combat boots, engaged in at least 3 fistfights with audience members and blew his brother on stage. It was one of the sickest, funniest shows I have ever seen. That dude really lived the outlaw scumfuck life.

"Suck My Ass It Smells"

You HAVE to hear that "song." It lasts barely over 20 seconds and consists entirely of GG screaming "suck my ass it smells" six times.

ON EDIT: It originally appeared on the "Freaks Faggots Drunks and Junkies" album (the one I mentioned in my first post) but I believe it's also on the soundtrack of the "Hated" documentary made about GG.

8. Outlaw Scumfuc
Bloody Mary's Blody Cunt
I Kill Everything I Fuck

I have the post mortem album made up of cuts from his last two performances. More of an oddity than an actual album though, it has some wacked out interviews with he and Merle Allin between performances.

14. Gimme Some Head
I also love "A Fuckup" and "Cheri Love Affair."

Is it true he hired prostitutes as his backup singers for the studio version of that?

17. I found the best GG Allin song
"Shove That Warrant Up Your Ass"

GG Allin had a lot of Public Indecency warrants outstanding. This song was his response.

18. I hate to speak ill of the dead
However, G.G. Allin was a terrible human being.

I saw him cold-cock girls who were not even looking at him, I saw him do the vilest things possible to people who were not in on the "joke".

He was convinced that basic rules of civilition did not apply to him. He had many people who would kiss his ass and allow him to continue that illusion.

G.G. Allin was cool to people who would go to one of his shows to say they were there, and damn the folks who got in the way. F'n tourists. I hated the bastard.

19. I think it's safe to say that G.G. had serious mental problems.
When he died at age 37 of a heroin overdose, it somehow seemed quite fitting. Suffice it to say, if there's a Rock 'n' Roll Heaven, G.G. Allin ain't in it!

20. GG was a friend of my co-worker's sister.
The two sisters shared an apartment, and my co-worker said that a bunch of her sister's friends, including GG, came to their apartment. She just got a horrible feeling, really creeped out, when he was there.

Her sister had a son, and the son liked to say that his existence was due to GG Allin because his parents were big fans and met at one of his shows. I also saw photographs of GG's brothers wedding, for which GG was both the best man and maid of honor, dressed half for each role.

21. I've never actually heard a G.G. Allin song.....
I'm most definitely aware of him....

.. the one and only shit-slighing knocking-out-audience-members G.G. Allin....

I would've gone to one of his shows if he was still alive.. just to see the spectacle.... I would've stayed near the back for that one...

Having a crazy show is cool... but I'm not down with having shit thrown at me, please excuse the language..

(but this IS a G.G. Allin thread, there's bound to be some bad language on this one)

I'm more of a Butthole Surfers type guy when it comes to stuff like that... the shotgun and stuff... that was always cool..

Heyo
