So what is everyone doing for the Solstice?
Robb's having a party. I'm having one at the Cabin with a bunch of folks (Like 14 people). Last year iwas really cool, it was light until 10:00 a night, at the same time it was snowing all day cause we're close to 7,000 feet.
As well, my buddy Allen is a Chef and he takes care of the cooking. The rest of the time - we just get soused. It's loads of fun.

What are you doing?

1. Probably checking out the Fremont parade
But mostly I'll likely be secluded in my backyard trying to make some sense of my life right now.

You can spend it on DU and get mad at republicans instead.

10. I have a feeling I understand

However, in my case I wouldn't have made it to the 1st anniversary. But when you're 19 and 4 months pregnant (and your family isn't supportive), you learn to make do. Things got better over the years and I was very happy at one point (hence more kids), then it all went downhill again and my feelings kind of died a slow and painful death. I'm just exhausted. I'm ready to move on, but there's so much to get in order with children involved. I wish I could get on with my life now though.

(Allegedly, my posts are no longer being read either.)

16. We were married 11 years
And he's such a bastard, I have to get a restraining order. Right now I'm staying with my parents until we can make sure my house is safe. I thank any benevolent deity out there that we had no children. I am terrified of him, to be honest.

It's very scary to go through a divorce, and I feel for you, having your kids to worry about. When it's all said and done, you'll come out of it stronger and much happier, I really believe that. :loveya:

13. No, but we always get a few disappointed witches looking for a coven
They want the ritual and dancing, but not the witty political commentary, lol.

And since it's my birthday, I'll get going to class like it's just any other day. My birthdays always suck.

17. I don't know yet.
It depends on what state I'm in.

If I'm home in CA, I'll be getting together with some local friends.

Otherwise I'll be in Oregon with my mom. Up there, I plan to do as little as possible. I'll be meditating in the pines.
