My son's HS graduation ceremony is tonight. I hope that they dont
turn it into a Reagan love-fest.This is a pretty conservative area, and some of the teachers are freepers who tried to censor my son for speaking his mind about the bu$h "mis"administration.
Please, this is for the kids. Let them have this night.

3. Then just get up and walk out
They seem to have no compunction about booing anti-war speakers or walking out on speakers from our side of the aisle.

You can quietly get up and leave while they have their moment for Reagan and then come back. Let the conservatives have their heroes. We have our heroes. They have theirs.

4. My daughters Jr high ceremony is tomorrow
I have been concerned as well. I did promise her however that I would not stand up and heckle anyone who brings it up. It will be hard to contain myself.

5. I hope they dont make us stand up and recite a prayer..
or a moment of silence.
BTW I'm sitting next to my ex-inlaws and they are Reagan worshiping freepers.

8. I'm in San Diego and most are military dependants who are told
that Reagan was a god and liberals belong in hell.

10. At Jr High Level it seems most reflect the beliefs of parents.
Our general area votes Democratic but I live in a weird little quirky community that can go in either direction. The few loud
mouth re-thugs never cease to get their voices out there. I have been at school functions where they called for moments of silence when faculty members have recently passed away. I am not sure how they will handle this.
