3. there was a petition drive to get "Star Wars Kid" in the next movie

I know that a number of Star Wars fans wanted the Light-Sabre Kid (his name is Ghyslain and he's French-Canadian, and he's not the kid who's featured in the SFGate link) to appear in the next Star Wars movie. Anyone know what became of that?

And BTW, I saw the headline too and I think it was grossly misleading (perhaps intentionally)?
