Really Bad Names for a File.
What are some filenames you really wouldn't want your co-workers or SO to see?

For example,

lastnightsorgy.jpg

johnsonphotoshop.jpg

odetoadultery-poem.txt

etcetera...

Don't laugh, I subbed as a secretary for quite some time, and I've come across files - usually a whole directory of them - like that.

Also always loved these gems of informational and clear file naming:

11223344.ppt
11223311.ppt
14431242.ppt
fn3uy547iw.ppt
37wbfwktrh.ppt

you get the picture.

I swear, I've about killed myself trying to find a file that a boss needed RIGHT DAMN NOW and the secretary had both named everything in a bizarre way, and also had a subset of folders that made no sense. Thank God I'm a computer whiz, and know some clever ways of searching, or a number of secretaries would have been in a hell of a lot of trouble.

I use this one all the time when I am feeling uncreative. It's hard to keep them organized later though.

21. The filenames I hate worst
Anyone can see them, they're not bad. But if I see another folder like this...oh, I am so glad I am no longer in the printing business!

The disk would always come in with the very creative name of "Untitled"--or "New Disk."

There's always a folder on it "To Printer."

In it is a PageMaker file entitled "Brochure.p65"

And an Illustrator file named "logo.eps"

With some photoshop files "photo1.jpg" "photo2.jpg" "photo3.jpg" and "photo4.jpg"

There would naturally be some fonts, but PC font names never make any sense--you should automatically know that a font named "alpg__32.pfb" is Stempel Garamond Bold Italic! (not the real font name, just an example)

C'mon, guys, would it be so hard for Acme High Explosives to name the RageMaker file "Acme Brochure.p65" and to name the photo of their best customer "Wile E. Coyote.jpg"?
