The reason there is fighting in hockey
Karl Malone punking Derrick Martin, thats why.

If Malone knew that Donald Brashear was going to climb over the boards in 20 seconds then he wouldn't do most of the cheap crap he has always done. The guys he hurts are always puny. If B-Ball was like hockey then Malone would have been put down and hard for his shenanigans. In the future he would have gone after someone his own size or he wouldn't have gone after anyone at all.

The NBA actually used to have guys like that on their teams. Dennis Awtry and Kermit Washington would lock up so that people would lay off the stars. Then Rudy's face blew up and Karl Malone was allowed to elbow his way into the Hall of Fame.

Hockey players are nicer, too.
