What member of your family drives you nuts?
I have a sister, a lifelong repugnantan, who, when asked recently if she would still vote for Bush*, responded loudly:

OF COURSE!!!!!

4. You can have her!
I withdraw any claim to familyhood!

Good luck!

A Repugnantan with brains that still wants to vote for *. How does that work? Is it something missing in the temporal lobe?

2. Only the ones who consider sweat pants and tops as suitable wear
for in public.

Thankfully, don't really have any republican family members, though I have a couple dumb flag-waving jingoistic types who've bought into the fake patriotism meme, but who are otherwise more than likely to vote democrat, or at least for someone qualified.

I do have one cousin, the youngest in the family, who at Christmas in 2001 said - in front of me, and after some of other of us and even him had been trashing Shrub - "Well, at least Gore isn't president" and meant it seriously. Oooh, man, I gave him SUCH a look. Mostly out of surprise, he's not that dumb really. And I didn't say anything because I was still angry about losing my office and my sense of security and rightness with the world because of that evil SOB, and I was afraid that if I started, I'd have the whole house's worth of people's ears on fire with invective. :-)

Last Christmas, I was much more free to disabuse any of those notions he was still carrying, and in a much more calm manner.

...of lifelong Democrats.
