I'm going with my boss the chef and his wife to some kind of bonfire BBQ thingy up on one of these here mesas nearby.

1. I'm moving.

Looks like into a storage shelter until my closing date, because I am buying a house from an asshole. The guy is turning down rent for a week. What a moran!

13. mostly working but some fun

Showing off my new cat fence to my friend. She's bringing her cat, Henry. This will be the first time he's spent any time outdoors.

We're barbecuing: hamburgers, potato salad, baked beans and cole slaw. Fresh squeezed lemonade and for dessert apple cobbler.

I'm working the rest of the weekend, though, as I goofed off all week long.

Spouse is going camping in the rain with his grandchildren. I'm uh...opting out, thank you very much

5. Research neighborhood history on the internet.

...ive found two online sites that will permit me to ID the type and age of structures in a certain neighborhood Im interested in...this, combined with copies of some old maps and other sources will permit me to plot the evolution and growth of this neighborhood from rural are to industrial suburb, to being engulfed by the city.

6. Going up to Springfield, IL to visit my mom and

sisters. Sunday is the two year anniversary (yahrzeit) of the death of my oldest brother. We will get together and remember him. His sons want to go eat at his favorite restaurant, Outback, so we will do that.

I do intend to sleep as long as possible this weekend though. No getting up at 4AM that is for sure.
