...a lot of people might think that her live version of "Over The Rainbow" on her most recent CD ("Martina") is melodramatic, and I've heard may B-A-D versions of the song, but holy crap...hers is amazing. I was in Tower Records today and it was playing. I've heard it over 100 times and it still gave me chills.

A beautiful woman...undeniably talented...I'd just like to have her on "the team," ya know?

child abuse (Concrete Angel) and another one, I can't think of the name, that is very uplifting and positive for girls and young women. And then there's the aforementioned one about wife beating.

I'm not so certain that she's not on the team. She certainly seems attuned to women's issues.
